Bumble and bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil – 100ml £35

I bought the Bumble and bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil a few months ago now, for several reasons mainly. In most weather my hair goes a bit frizzy. I wanted something to make my hair a little sleeker. It’s a blend of six oils and helps to tame hair. It also protects against UV damage so if you live in a warm, sunny climate and find it dries out your hair then this could be a plus for you.

It’s worth noting that Bumble and bumble are a cruelty free brand, so if that’s important to you when choosing beauty products then you should certainly consider them.

Bumble and bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil – My Thoughts

The Bumble and bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil comes in a cute little pump bottle. I usually use one pump’s worth on wet hair and apply to the middle and ends. I have lots of hair and it comes to just below my shoulders. I’d recommend using the oil sparingly. It has never made my hair greasy but it’s an oil so I always use small amounts of these sorts of products.

The oil sort of smells sweet, a bit like Smarties I think. It’s not an overwhelming fragrance though, and once applied is barely perceptable. It absorbs well into the hair and doesn’t seem to leave any residue on towels or clothes if I am getting dressed.

Once applied, I blow dry and style my hair. It’s worth pointing out that some of the ingredients such as Dimethicone, Dimethiconol and Bis-Cetearyl Amodimethicone help with heat protection, so it’s a good pick if you use straighteners or other heat products on your hair. I notice my hair is sleeker and softer to touch after use. My hair doesn’t get very tangled when I was it, but I notice the few tangles I get come out more easily. My hair also feels lighter, if that makes sense.

On the whole, I really like the Bumble and bumble Invisible Oil. It benefits my hair in so many ways, including acting as a heat protectant. My hair always feels nourished after using it, and it definitely looks more sleek. I know it’s not the cheapest of products but I use such a small amount I can see it lasting me ages?
