Glossier Cloud Paint in Haze Review

I’ve been wanting to give the Glossier Cloud Paints another go for a few years now. Back in 2022 I picked up a Cloud Paint in the shade Dusk. You can see my review of it here but it didn’t work for me at all. I got on well with the formula but the shade was way too orange for my neutral – cool skin tone and I couldn’t make it work for me.

A few weeks ago the Cloud Paints went on sale at SpaceNK and I had store credit. So I went a bit wild and got Haze, Puff and Storm.

Haze is a cool toned fuchsia blush. It’s bright but highly blendable. Each Cloud Paint has a gel-creme formula but Haze is a fair bit runnier in consistency compared to the others I’ve tried.

Glossier say that their Cloud Paints are sheer but buildable. I’d say when I first swatched Haze, I was a bit intimidated. It looked very pigmented and deep in tone. However, it blended it out really well. I’m fair skinned so I use a tiny amount – probably the size of a pin head. But its buildable nature means it can still work for people with darker skin tones. You can see the fuchsia tones from the two swatches above and below in different lighting.

I usually apply Haze by dotting some product on my cheekbones using my fingertips. I then either pat it in or use a stippling brush to work the product in. It easily melts into my skin and I don’t find it moves my foundation around when applying.

In terms of longevity, I’d say this lasts about 6 hours on my skin and fades evenly. The handy packaging means it is easy to throw in my bag for touch ups and they’re really easy to reapply anyway. Here is Glossier Cloud Paint in Haze blended out onto my skin.

Glossier Cloud Paint in shade Haze – final thoughts

I’d say Haze definitely gives that “just in from the cold” effect. It’s a nice blush for the winter when I want a slightly flushed look.

I really like how natural these look on and how the pigment diffuses nicely into the skin. Haze is definitely a hit for me and spoiler alert – I really like Puff and Storm as well.

At £24 for 10ml, these aren’t the cheapest but I’ve read they’ve lasted people years and can believe it as you need so little to achieve your desired results. The squeezy tube is hygienic and means you can use every last drop too.

Have you tried Glossier’s Cloud Paints?
