Lush Seanik Review

I’ve never used a shampoo bar before, or any shampoo from Lush to be honest.

I picked up Lush’s Seanik a little while ago. I have no idea why. It looked interesting. Blue and lumpy. It also promises more volume and has a slight lemony scent. The inclusion of sea salt means it’s basically a sea salt spray in a shampoo form. So basically two products rolled into one. Smart.

At £7.50, the bar isn’t the cheapest. But it does last a long time. I recommend storing it in a little holder or something though, because otherwise in the shower most of it will dissolve in the water.

I was actually pleasantly surprised by Seanik. It does give hair more grit and texture. Other products work better in it too as it doesn’t leave hair feeling silky smooth like most shampoos do.

Another plus is that Lush’s products are not tested on animals, and also the lack of packaging means you are producing less waste. Both good things in my book.

Ingredients include:

  • Sodium Lauryl Sulfate
  • Irish Moss Gel
  • Perfume
  • Nori Seaweed
  • Fine Sea Salt
  • Lemon Oil
  • Mimosa Absolute
  • Orange Flower Absolute
  • Jasmine Absolute
  • Sodium Cocoamphoacetate
  • *Limonene
  • Colour 42090

Have you ever tried any of Lush’s shampoo bars?
