I don’t know about you, but I always find January quite a gloomy month. I don’t mind the chilly days and dark evenings in the lead up to Christmas, but I tend to get into a bit of a slump come January. I’m back at work now and also doing a short course during the evenings, so that coupled with the cold and dark is making me feel so lethargic.
I usually treat myself to a little post-Christmas pamper on the days I have nothing planned. I find this just lifts my mood a little bit. Here are some of the products I’ve been using and why I’ve been enjoying them.
Bobbi Brown Crushed Lip Color
In January my skin isn’t exactly glowing, but I always always feel a bit more put together with some lipstick. I’ve talked about these Crushed Lip Colors on my blog so many times but I love them. They’re so easy for a low maintenance swipe of colour that leaves you feeling a little more put together. Review here.
Foreo Luna Mini 2
I’ll likely share how I’ve got on with the Foreo Luna Mini 2 as I’ve had it for quite a while now. I find during the colder months I get much more dry skin, and the Foreo Luna Mini 2 just helps to slough that away leaving me feeling more radiant and allowing my skincare products to really work their magic. I know there are other versions with all the bells and whistles but this one is much more affordable and does the job it’s meant to just fine.

Pai Skincare Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil
During the colder months my skin just needs some extra nourishment. I apply the Pai Skincare Rosehip Oil before bed and wake up with soft, supple skin. Review here.
Benefit High Beam
Probably the best liquid highlighter I’ve found. If you have cool, fair skin like me I’d definitely recommend it. The Benefit High Beam highlighter is a pearlescent pink colour and looks lovely and natural on the skin. I apply this to my cheekbones and it makes my skin look so youthful and glowy – which is usually not how I’m feeling in January.
Liz Earle Skin Repair Light Cream
I have spoken about my adoration for this product before. I religiously use the Skin Repair Light Cream in the mornings as an added boost of hydration. One of the best moisturisers I have used, ever. Review here.
REN Ready Steady Glow Daily AHA Tonic

The REN Ready Steady Glow Tonic is magic in a bottle. It brightens, tightens, exfoliates and hydrates your skin. What more do you need during the winter months? Also the bright orange colour just makes me think of summer and warmer weather, which puts me in a cheery mood any time I use it. Review here.
L’Occitane Almond Shower Oil
Sometimes in the colder months your body needs a little tlc and this does just that. The L’Occitane Almond Shower Oil smells luxurious and leaves my skin feeling so soft and hydrated after. It’s a bit spendy, but worth it as a nice treat every now and then.
Do you ever have pamper evenings in the winter?
