Spring ’21 Wishlist

I never really publish these sorts of wishlist posts. But, it is coming into spring here in the UK and lockdown will gradually lift over the next couple of months.

Like probably 90% of the UK’s population, I’ve been living in pyjamas and loungewear for the past year. I’m not going to lie, before lockdown I went to the gym 5-6 times a week and got ready properly in the mornings. Now it’s a case of working in my pyjamas until lunch time and then throwing on a pair of jeans or leggings to go on a quick walk outside and that’s making me feel less good about myself in general. I’m quite looking forward to making an effort again, and actually having somewhere to go.

I’ve not really bought much in the way of clothes because of lockdown. But I wanted to branch out and buy something different to my jeans and t-shirt or jumper combo. I’ve been on the hunt for a good midi dress for a year now but the smock style ones that seem popular at the moment just do not suit my shape. I’m thinking this polka dot wrap dress from River Island hits the spot though? I also really want this wrap front jumpsuit as I think it would look really cool paired with my Birkenstocks and it’s black which is the colour I live in 90% of the time.

I love a good polka dot, so they feature a lot here. I’ve also got some beauty picks so I can give myself a good pamper before everything opens again, and put on some nice make up. The Barry M Face, Cheek and Lip tint sounds right up my street and it’s small enough to stash in my bag should my make up need retouching. Finally onto scents, and my ultimate summer scent that I have repurchased time and time again is the blogger favourite Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess. The scent encapsulates holidays and good summer vibes.

What do you think of my spring 2021 fashion and beauty picks?
