Shoreditch Street Art February Edition

I posted a good while ago some Shoreditch London Street Art, but what I love about the area is that it’s constantly evolving. New bars and pop up shops are always appearing, and old street art is covered with new. I want to make this into a bit of a series when I discover new bits of street art and graffiti in Shoreditch.

I work around the Shoreditch area and love going on a stroll over my lunch hour and exploring new corners of the neighbourhood. Shoreditch has a bit of an industrial feel with the warehouse type buildings. So much regeneration has happened that there’s even a Weekday store on Shoreditch High Street now.

Maybe you can see from the above picture. It’s of Shoreditch High Street and there’s a sort of warehouse type building in the background, and on the ground floors are restaurants and the like.

The thing about Shoreditch is, well, it isn’t very green. There are a few small green spaces but there aren’t many trees or large parks. I suppose the graffiti and street art in Shoreditch adds a bit of colour though.

I love the set up in this image. The flowers in the foreground and the floral facade of the building in the background.

I find some of the businesses here have eye-catching exteriors. This is one of them!

Even this doorway is decorated! The faces are a bit of a theme in Shoreditch I found.

I found some more faces under the bridge!

I feel like the street art in the last photo is probably the most iconic. It always pops up when I search for Shoreditch street art online. I really like it though and it sums up Shoreditch perfectly. The “Buy Shit” art is new and I’m really feeling the anti-capitalist vibes it’s giving out.

I love all the graffiti in Shoreditch. The area is quite renowned for its hipster / art scene I think.

What do you think of the street art in Shoreditch?
