Summer 2025 Perfume Picks

It’s the start of the meteorological summer and hopefully will bring some nice weather. With perfume although I usually wear what I like, I can’t deny I gravitate towards light and zesty perfumes in the heat to help me feel fresh.

Here are some perfumes I have on my “to wear” list this summer.

Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Eau Fraiche Skinscent

This is a lovely warm solar floral with some coconut and amber too. If you’ve got any holidays planned this is a must have for your suitcase. It smells like sun cream and pina coladas and is the ultimate “summer in a bottle” scent. It’s also quite affordable so I feel less bad about taking it out and about with me for top ups. I’ve reviewed this fragrance here. You can pick it up from LookFantastic here.

Le Labo Bergamote 22

This is another one I’ve reviewed on my blog. Le Labo’s Bergamote 22 is a bit pricier than Estee Lauder’s Bronze Goddess, but does come in a handy travel size if you wanted to sample it. This is a lovely fresh bergamot perfume that leans very grapefruit forward. It’s light and aromatic but has a woody cedar base to give it more depth.

Diptyque Eau des Sens

I’ve not reviewed this one yet. It’s the newest addition in my perfume collection owing to SpaceNK’s 20% off sale and TopCashBack promoting a higher cashback rate on that day. It was like the stars aligned and this had been on my list ever since I bought a sample of it back in February.

Diptyque’s Eau des Sens is a primarily an orange blossom and bitter orange perfume with some juniper berries and angelica. It opens quite sharp and citrus, but it softens in the dry down. It’s definitely one to try if you want something a bit different from your usual solar florals this summer. It also has really good perfomance for an eau de toilette concentration, lasting all day on clothes with a moderate projection.
