Le Labo Rose 31 Review
I picked up Le Labo’s Rose 31 in the recent Black Friday sale after testing it a few times. Here’s what I think of it. Rose 31 fragrance notes Rose 31 is described as a floral-woody scent, and I’d generally agree with this. As the name suggests, one of the main notes is rose, which is present throughout wear. It has cumin and rose in the top, rose, vetiver and cedar in the middle, and guaiac wood, musk, agarwood, olibanum and labdanum in the base. My thoughts on Le Labo’s Rose 31 On first spray, there is a distinctive cumin
The Prettiest Ways to ‘Fix’ an Old Tattoo in 2026
For, if like me, you want to change your mind or style often. I remember sharing people’s tattoos on my old blog and I always had a fascination with them. Although I don’t know if any had them covered up (and I hope not as they were beautiful), I won’t deny sometimes people have regrets, want a change, or a tattoo might not feel like them anymore. Hopefully in 2026, tattoo regret will be a thing of the past. With the latest advancements in tattoo removal and cover-up techniques, there will be plenty of ways that you can transform

Getting back into reading and other things
I’ve done it! I’ve finally read my first book in what, almost three years? To me, it feels so shameful to admit I haven’t read anything in that long. It wasn’t through a lack of wanting or good books. It was more a mental barrier I had placed on myself, I suppose. I had always prided myself on being a big reader. Even when I was working in an office full time and going to the gym 6 x a week, I’d still be able to snatch a few hours on a Saturday afternoon to spend with a good book.
Kilian Paris Princess Eau De Parfum Review
I picked up a small travel size of Princess from By Kilian a few months ago and have really enjoyed wearing it. The full name of this perfume is “I Don’t Need A Prince By My Side To Be A Princess” but that is long and rather cringe so most people know it as Princess. On Fragrantica, this is listed as an oriental vanilla but I don’t think that’s entirely accurate. It’s a green tea and marshmallow fragrance to me. The published notes for this are green tea, marshmallow and ginger. I get all of these notes but the green
Clinique Almost Lipstick – Black Honey Review
Today I’ll be talking about Clinique’s Almost Lipstick in the shade Black Honey, and whether I think it’s really worth it. At £25, this lip product is quite pricey. It’s sheer and buildable in shades that look different on everyone. They combine red, blue and yellow pigments that play up to the natural colour of your lips. It is more of a tinted lip balm product, and have a lightweight, balmy texture that is slightly hydrating. Black Honey is advertised as a deep, blackened raisin colour which sounds intimidating. When I first saw the shade in its silver tube I
My Top 5 Designer Fragrances
I have quite a mix of designer and niche perfumes in my collection. Here are my most reached for designer perfumes. Soapy and Clean – Chloe Eau de Parfum Chloe Eau de Parfum by Chloe was one of the first perfumes that I ever purchased, and it makes me feel nostalgic every time I wear it. This has rose, peony, freesia, litchi, amber, cedar, lily of the valley and magnolia. To my nose Chloe is mainly a clean, soapy rose fragrance. I don’t really get many of the other notes and I think they’re there mainly to complement the rose.
Jo Malone Myrrh and Tonka Cologne Intense Review
It’s probably of no surprise by now that I’m a huge fan of the Cologne Intense line by Jo Malone. I’ve reviewed Jasmine Sambac and Marigold on my blog in the past, and I also own Velvet Rose and Oud. Myrrh and Tonka is my latest purchase, after having sampled it a few years ago. I bought this back in August although it is not what I’d call a summer fragrance. Myrrh and Tonka is as the name suggests, a rich blend of myrrh and tonka with some lavender in the top notes to give it some freshness and a
Owala SmoothSip Slider Review
I’ve had my 20oz Owala SmoothSip Slider in Blue Jay for a while now and recently picked up the 12oz in Candy Coated. Here is what I think of them. The difference between the Owala SmoothSip models The SmoothSip Sliders are Owala’s version of a reusable coffee cup. They came out shortly after the original Owala SmoothSip which is similar in design but lacks the slide mechanism that makes the SmoothSip Slider leakproof. The SmoothSip is not leakproof. They also come in slightly different size and colour variations. The SmoothSip is available in 10oz and 20oz, and the SmoothSip Slider
