SHO Food Flask 530ml review
I’ve got something to “Sho” you! I’ve been making the switch from plastic containers to stainless steel for a little while now, and this SHO Food Flask replaced my plastic lunch box I have had for. I also reviewed the Stanley Iceflow after having used plastic bottles for ages. These food flasks come in two sizes – 530ml and 800ml. The 530ml is meant for a single person and the 800ml is designed for sharing (or if you just want a really big lunch haha). They come in a range of colours and patterns. The patterned food flasks are a
Dream Cream? Liz Earle Skin Repair Light Cream Review
It’s not often I get quite this excited over a moisturiser but here we are. I find throughout different points of the year my skin usually needs different things. In the winter I need plenty of exfoliants and moisturisers and in the summer I focus a bit more on cleansers for oily skin and light moisturisers. That’s until I picked up Liz Earle’s Skin Repair Light – and why did I not try this stuff before now I do not know. The cream is marketed as a silky moisturiser that locks in hydration without leaving a greasy residue and it
Pai Skincare Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil Review
I’ve been using Pai’s Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil for a few months now, and I usually apply it before bedtime after cleansing with my Foreo Luna Mini 2. Here’s my experience with the oil. What are the benefits of using rosehip oil? I picked up Pai’s Rosehip Oil because it seems like a good all-rounder. Rosehip oil is a cold-pressed oil that comes from the seed of a roseplant. It has a multitude of benefits for the skin, such as brightening, moisturising, improving signs of ageing, reducing pigmentation and treating acne. Pai’s version of the oil comes in a 30ml glass
Diptyque Eau Rose Eau De Parfum Review
I love love love love rose perfumes and when I decide to mix up my scents I go hard. I only tend to buy perfume every three or so years. When I get the hankering for a new signature scent I do loads of research and dither over which ones to buy. My thoughts on Diptyque Established in 1961, Diptyque were mainly known for their candles, but they’ve branched out into perfumes, hair mists and skincare since then. I really like Diptyque as a house. Their scents are interesting and all the ones I have smelt I have found wearable.
Bobbi Brown Crushed Lip Color in Blondie Pink review
Let me introduce you to one of my all time favourite lipsticks in one of my all time favourite ranges. You can probably tell by the packaging that I’ve used this a lot! About the Bobbi Brown Crushed Lip Color line The Crushed Lip Color lipsticks feel like a balm but have the effect of a lipstick. They’re ultra long lasting and leave a stain on the lips, but they contain beeswax, vitamin C & E to keep your lips hydrated. There are 22 shades currently on offer (that I could count on their website – ha), ranging from pink
Stanley Iceflow Flip Straw Tumbler review
I’m a bit late to the whole Stanley / reusable stainless steel cup trend. Until about a month ago I used a Chilly’s insulated bottle I’ve had for about 6 years, or reused plastic bottles which I know you’re not really meant to do. I’m probably about 90% microplastic right now. I know the big Stanley Quencher cup is the more well known of the two, but I picked up the Iceflow because it’s advertised as being leakproof. The Stanley Iceflow comes in an array of different colours, from bright oranges to neutrals. I picked mine up in Rose Quartz,
Diptyque Do Son Eau De Toilette review
I bought Diptyque’s Do Son Eau De Toilette a few months ago now and here are my thoughts. Recently I’ve been on such a perfume buying spree. I tend not to buy any for years and years and then buy a few bottles at a time when my tastes change. My latest buy is Diptyque’s Do Son – and the version I picked up is a limited edition 30ml version, which is now out of stock unfortunately. It comes in a lovely glass bottle with an illustration on the back which is visible through the glass. Diptyque describe the fragrance
Glossier Cloud Paint in Dusk Review
*This post contains affiliate links I remember talking about how much I wanted to buy Glossier’s Cloud Paint in Dusk so much on my post about budgeting for high end beauty products. I wanted to try Glossier for the longest time and I heard so many good things about their Cloud Paints. Glossier’s Cloud Paints come in 8 shades and are marketed as buildable gel-creme products that are easy to use and seamless. Initially, they apply quite sheer so even the most dramatic of colours should be wearable. Pigment can be built up though, depending on the look you’re going
REN Ready Steady Glow Daily AHA Tonic Review
I bought The REN Ready Steady Glow Tonic over the winter months, just in the little travel size to test out. The images were sitting in my inbox for a long time but I didn’t have the motivation to post about it until now. I generally like REN products and was keen to try out this tonic. The REN website claims that the tonic exfoliates, brightens, tightens and hydrates for a smooth, even and energised complexion that’s all glow without the irritation. It also claims to be gentle enough for daily use. The Ready Steady Glow Daily AHA Tonic contains
REN Perfect Canvas Clean Jelly Oil Cleanser Review
The REN Jelly Oil Cleanser is marketed as a gentle yet effective cleansing treatment that is clinically proven to remove waterproof make up. Indeed, I have used it and it effectively removes make up, pollution and SPF, and feels gentle enough to use around the eye area. Despite being such an effective cleanser, it does not feel stripping. Instead, skin feels soft and supple after use. The cleanser boasts a tri-phase formulation; firstly dispensing as a rather firm jelly, then turning into an oil and then a milk upon contact with water. It feels luxurious and gentle on the skin.
