Stila Kitten Eyeshadow Review

Stila Kitten Eyeshadow

I don’t often buy make up from Stila. I find the brand quite hard to get a hold of in the UK. I do have one of their Convertable Colour lip and cheek compact in Lilium which I really like though.

I’ve heard great things about the Stila Eyeshadow in Kitten and I knew I had to pick it up. It retails for £12 and can be purchased online. Stila used to be available in big Boots stores but the past few times I’ve been I’ve not been able to see it. Price-wise, it’s on the expensive side. I think of Stila as being a high-end brand though, and their eyeshadows are cheaper than those from NARS or MAC.

Packaging-wise, Stila Kitten comes in a small circular compact. It’s pretty lightweight and it doesn’t seem to get damaged easily but design-wise it is rather basic. The eyeshadow colour is labelled on the back but it can easily come off. That said, I’m not too concerned about the packaging. It’s the product inside we all care about anyway – right?

Stila Kitten Eyeshadow Swatch

With regards to the actual product, I find Stila Kitten to be very pigmented. One swipe allows for full coverage. The consistency of Stila Kitten is soft and buttery, and once applied to the eyelids I experienced very little fall out. I usually apply my make up in a rush in the mornings, so I use Stila Kitten all over the eyelids. Once applied, it lasts about 6 or so hours.

Stila Kitten is a champagne colour with shimmer running through. It’s rather pigmented but it’s neutral enough to get away with wearing it during the day. I believe Stila Kitten also comes in a liquid eyeshadow version, although that runs ever so slightly peachy.

Stila Kitten Powder Eyeshadow Review – Summary

The Stila Kitten powder eyeshadow is one of the most popular products in the Stila make up range, and it’s not hard to see why. The consistency is soft and buttery, and the product is highly pigmented. For £12 it’s reasonably priced as you will not need to use much to achieve a full-colour payoff.

Have you ever tried the Stila eyeshadow in Kitten, or anything from Stila before?
